The Simcoe angled capsule polisher brings a textured, sandblasted tip to the back of the capsular bag. Its angle helps you reach areas under the main incision. Meanwhile, fluid flows through the shaft to keep the bag open.
An angle instead of a curve
Curved polishers follow the bag in a smooth arc. However, an angled shaft turns more sharply near the tip. This lets you tuck under the wound and polish the subincisional zone with less wrist strain. Many surgeons keep both shapes on hand for this reason. They start with the curve, then switch to the angle when the last patch sits under the wound.

Technique tips
