The side pin cutter cuts wires from the side, so the cut sits close to bone or a frame. Its tungsten carbide jaws handle wires up to 4.0 mm.

Cutting from the side

End cutters approach a wire head-on. By contrast, a side cutter approaches along the wire. As a result, the stub left behind is very short.

Tungsten carbide jaws
