Description
Retractor Ring
This retractor ring forms the base of a table-mounted ring retractor system. Choose a round ring or an oval adjustable one.
Round or oval adjustable
A round ring gives even access on every side. By contrast, the oval adjustable version changes shape to suit the incision. So it fits a long, narrow opening better than a round ring of the same size.
How blades attach
Blades attach around the ring wherever you need them. Then each blade pulls its own part of the wound back. As a result, the opening takes whatever shape the case calls for.
Table-mounted
The system mounts to the table, so no one needs to hold it. Meanwhile, the team keeps both hands for the operation. Also, the exposure stays steady for long cases, without drift as an assistant tires.
Building a system
The ring works with blades, a coupling part and a ratchet. Plus, we sell each of those separately. Therefore, you can start small and add parts over time.
Cleaning retractor ring
Wipe the ring down after each case, working around its full length. Next, check the adjustable joints on the oval version for debris. Finally, let it air-dry and lay it on a level shelf, which helps the ring hold its form.
