Roser-Koenig Mouth Gag

The Roser-Koenig mouth gag is a curved jaw opener for separating the teeth and holding the mouth open. Teams in anesthesia, oral surgery and ENT pick it up whenever they need controlled access to the mouth.

How it opens the mouth

The operator slides the tips between the teeth and then squeezes the handles. As a result, the tips spread and the jaws open. The gag holds that position so the team can work.

Two lengths, curved

We list this curved gag at 15 cm and 20 cm. The longer version gives more leverage and reach. Meanwhile, the shorter one suits smaller hands and patients.

Open the joint and rinse the gag after use. Then brush the tips, joint and handles with a soft brush. Let it dry completely, then sterilize it with the joint open.
