Potts Atrauma Multi-Purpose Clamp

Description

Potts Atrauma Multi-Purpose Clamp

The Potts Atrauma Multi-Purpose Clamp is a general-purpose surgical clamp with atraumatic jaws. Surgeons use it to grasp and hold soft tissue securely while keeping crush damage to a minimum. It comes in four lengths, from 21.5 cm to 31 cm.

Atraumatic jaws

The jaws are designed to grip firmly without tearing or crushing tissue. So the clamp holds steady during the procedure. Then, once it is released, the tissue is left intact.

Four working lengths

We offer the clamp in 21.5 cm, 23 cm, 27 cm and 31 cm. Shorter sizes suit shallow, open work, while the longer ones reach into a deep surgical field. Therefore one pattern covers a wide range of procedures.

Ring handles and ratchet

Ring handles and a ratchet lock let the surgeon set the grip and leave it in place. Meanwhile, the team keeps both hands free for the next step.

Where it fits in the tray

General surgery trays often carry an atraumatic clamp beside shorter hemostats and tissue forceps. Many teams keep two Potts sizes in the set, one short and one long. That way, the right reach is ready whatever the depth of the field.

Built for reuse

Each clamp is made from surgical-grade stainless steel. It is supplied non-sterile, so clean and sterilize it before first use and after every procedure. With proper care, it holds up through repeated sterilization cycles.
