Luc Nasal Polypus Forceps
The Luc nasal polypus forceps grips polyps and other soft tissue inside the nose. ENT surgeons rely on the Luc nasal polypus forceps for polyp extraction and for clearing tissue during sinus work.

Luc forceps have long appeared in nasal and sinus sets. They reach into the nasal cavity, close around the target and withdraw it. Because of this, surgeons also use them for general grasping in the nose.

During polyp surgery
First, a nasal speculum widens the entrance. Then the Luc forceps goes in, grasps the polyp and draws it out. Suction and cutting forceps help to finish the area.

Caring for the Luc forceps
Rinse the jaws as soon as possible after the case. Also brush the joint and jaw area with a soft brush. Dry the forceps thoroughly before sterilizing it.
