Description
Lister-Excentric Bandage & Clothing Scissors Saw Edge
The Lister-Excentric scissors combine the classic Lister angle with an offset joint and a saw edge. Thanks to the offset joint, it cuts with more power, and the serrations stop thick material from slipping.
The offset joint
The pivot sits off-centre, which lengthens the lever on the cutting side. Consequently, the same hand pressure cuts thicker layers.
Saw edge grip on the Lister-Excentric scissors
Fine serrations hold slippery bandage and clothing. As a result, the material stays in place while you cut.
Two lengths
We offer 16 cm and 19 cm. The 16 cm fits a pocket, while the 19 cm suits plaster rooms and emergency departments.
Typical uses
Staff cut thick bandages, padding, clothing and tape with them. They are especially useful on layered dressings.
Safe cutting
Slide the blunt lower blade along the skin under the material. Then cut steadily, lifting slightly as you go.
Why choose this pattern
Standard Lister scissors suit light bandages. By contrast, the Lister-Excentric adds power and grip for heavier work.
