Description
Graduated Measure
The graduated measure is a steel jug with marked levels. It measures fluids for mixing solutions, irrigation and lab work.
Five capacities
We offer 100, 250, 500, 1000 and 2000 cc. Small sizes suit pharmacy work. Meanwhile, large sizes suit theatre irrigation.
Why a steel graduated measure
Steel goes through sterilisation easily. Therefore, it suits sterile fields. It also does not crack or cloud.
Typical uses
Theatres measure saline and solutions. In addition, pharmacies mix liquids. Labs also use it for preparing reagents.
Reading the level
Set the measure on a flat surface. Then read the mark at eye height. Also, pour slowly as you near the line.
Pouring
The lip guides fluid in a neat stream. As a result, there are fewer spills. Pour steadily rather than tipping quickly.
Choosing a size
Pick the smallest size that holds the volume you need. For example, 250 cc suits most pharmacy jobs. However, irrigation needs 1000 or 2000 cc.
Graduated measure options
- 100, 250, 500, 1000 or 2000 cc
- Marked levels
- Pouring lip
Care
Rinse straight after use. Wash and dry. Then sterilise if needed for the next case.
Warranty and checks
Our Atlanta team studies this measure by hand ahead of shipping. Whatever the size, the measure carries three years against manufacturing defects. Pouring lip too. For a summary of surgical-grade stainless, review ASTM F899. Our common questions page answers the ordering steps. One extra measure in the sterile store avoids delays.
