Description
Freeman Breast Marker
The Freeman breast marker outlines the areola before reduction, lift or areolar surgery. It is a ring template that the surgeon traces with a skin pen.
Three styles
The single size pattern carries one diameter. Also, the double sided pattern carries two, one on each face. Meanwhile, the light weight pattern is thinner for easy handling.
Sizes and metals
Diameters range from 32 mm to 50 mm. Most styles come in stainless steel, and the double sided style also comes in aluminium. Therefore, you can match size, style and weight.
Why the Freeman breast marker is common
Its simple ring gives a clean, repeatable outline. Many surgeons learned on it. As a result, it remains a standard tool.
Using it
Place the ring centred on the planned areola. Press gently and trace around the edge. Then repeat on the other side.
Choosing a set
Many surgeons keep two or three diameters. In addition, a double sided marker covers two sizes in one. So it saves space on the tray.

For facts on medical stainless steel, check ASTM F899. For a matching piece, look at our Grossmann marker.
