Description
Coupland Suction Tube
The Coupland suction tube removes blood and mucus with a plain open tip. It fits on the Coupland handle and connects to theatre suction.
Four diameters
We offer 1.5, 2.0, 2.5 and 3.5 mm. Besides, small tubes clear the ear. Meanwhile, the larger ones manage the nose and sinuses.
Plain tip or side holes
This Coupland suction tube has a single opening at the end. Furthermore, it pulls hard at one point. By contrast, the side-hole version spreads the pull and grabs tissue less often.
Where it fits
Ear, nose and throat departments reach for it during nasal packing and its removal. It also earns a place in outpatient ear toilet. Most departments keep a range of sizes.
Fitting to the handle
Push the tube firmly into the Coupland handle. Then attach tubing to the handle outlet. Check the seal before use so suction stays strong.
