Description
Caspar Retractor Complete with 5 Blades
The Caspar retractor with 5 blades comes in two models, Type I and Type II. Both hold tissue apart on their own, but each uses a different frame.
Type I or Type II
The two models differ in their frames. So the right choice depends on the blades and parts you already own. Also, mixing parts between types may not work.
Confirm before you order
Please contact us before ordering if you plan to use existing blades. Then we can check which model matches. As a result, you avoid a frame that will not take your blades.
A five-blade set
Five blades keep the set light and simple to count. Meanwhile, the frame holds tissue apart without an assistant. Therefore, it suits teams who want a small, self-retaining option.
Spare frames
We also sell each frame alone, as For 5-Blade Set Type I or Type II. Plus, that lets you replace a frame without a new set. However, match the type carefully when you reorder.
Reprocessing Caspar retractor with 5 blades
Keep Type I and Type II parts in separate trays so they never mix. Next, clean the frame and five blades one at a time. Finally, dry each piece and label the tray with its type.
