Description
Caspar Counter Retractor Only
The Caspar counter retractor works together with a Caspar retractor to open the field in the other direction. This listing covers the frame only, and blades come separately.
Two directions of pull
A standard Caspar frame spreads tissue along one line. By contrast, the counter frame pulls across it. As a result, the working window opens in both directions.
Frame only
No blades come with this order. So you fit blades from your existing Caspar set, or order them separately. Also, check with us that your blades suit this frame.
When to add one
Teams often add a counter frame when one axis of exposure falls short. Then the second frame widens the view. Meanwhile, the first frame stays where you set it.
Part of the Caspar system
This piece does not work alone. Instead, it pairs with a Caspar frame already in your tray. Therefore, the Caspar counter retractor suits teams who own a full set.
Cleaning Caspar counter retractor
Clean the counter frame apart from the main one so each part gets full attention. Next, work the moving parts back and forth under running water. Afterward, keep the counter frame beside the main one so the pair travels together.
