The Braun uterine depressor holds tissue aside during gynecologic surgery. It comes in a single 28 cm length.

A longer depressor

At 28 cm, it outreaches our Sims pattern by a few centimeters. So it suits a deeper field or a larger patient. Also, the assistant can stand further back from the table.

Keeping the view open

Depressors push the vaginal wall or uterus out of the way. Then the surgeon works with better sight lines. Meanwhile, other retractors can cover different sides of the vaginal vault.

One pattern, one size
