Description
Blades for the Arthroscopy Instrument Handle, Version A
These arthroscopy handle blades fit the matching version of our arthroscopy instrument handle. Eleven options cover numbered blades and sized blades.
Numbered blades
Blades No 1, No 8 and No 11 are available. Also, each number marks a different blade shape. Please ask us for drawings if you need to compare them.
Sized arthroscopy handle blades
The narrowest flat blade measures 2.0 by 3.0 mm. From there, widths step up through 2.5, 3.0 and 3.5 mm to 5.0 and 7.0 mm. In addition, two round blades complete the list, one of 3.0 mm and one of 7.0 mm.
Who uses arthroscopy handle blades
Arthroscopic surgeons use them for cutting inside the joint. Also, sports clinics keep spares. Sterile processing departments reorder worn blades.
Matching the handle
These blades suit one of the two handle versions we list. Consequently, check your handle before ordering. Additionally, we will confirm fit.
Blade safety
Fit the blade firmly before use. Then keep it in view inside the joint. Replace dull or bent blades.
Choosing between options
Numbered blades suit general cutting tasks. Meanwhile, the sized and round blades match specific tissue widths. Most kits carry a few of each, so a spare is always close.
