Description
Yasargil Micro Forceps
Yasargil micro forceps are fine grasping forceps for microneurosurgery. Surgeons use them to hold small vessels, membranes and tissue under the microscope, often while the other hand cuts or dissects.
Fine tips for fine work
Micro forceps need small tips that meet precisely. So the Yasargil micro forceps come with a 0.6 mm or 0.9 mm tip. The 0.6 mm tip suits the finest structures, while the 0.9 mm tip grips a little more tissue.
Lengths and tooth option
We offer 15, 18, 20, 22 and 23 cm lengths. In addition, there is an 18 cm version with 1:2 teeth for a firmer hold on tougher tissue. Altogether, the listing covers eleven options.
Where they fit
A microsurgical tray may hold two or three pairs of Yasargil micro forceps in different lengths. For example, a 15 cm pair works near the surface, while a 23 cm pair reaches the skull base. Meanwhile, the toothed pair handles tissue that plain tips would let slip.
Choosing length and tip
First, pick a length that reaches the depth of your typical micro cases. Next, pick the tip size according to the tissue you handle most. If you are unsure which combinations we stock, contact us for the current list.
Caring for your micro forceps
Close the tips gently and never let them drop. After surgery, rinse the forceps and wipe the tips with a soft cloth. Then check alignment under magnification before drying and sterilizing them in a micro rack.

Micro forceps go to surgical professionals. How do photos relate to the real pair, and what about nickel? Our care and sterilization explainer covers both, and our returns terms explain sending forceps back.
