Description
Sterilizing and Storing Cases Lid
This storing case lid closes a steel sterilizing and storage case. It keeps instruments covered between processing and use.
Two case sizes
The lid fits round cases of 135 x 40 mm. It also fits rectangular cases of 200 x 100 x 400 mm. Check your case size before ordering.
With or without a knob
A knob makes the lid easy to lift with gloved hands. By contrast, a flat lid stacks more neatly. So choose by how you store the cases.
Why buy a spare storing case lid
Lids get bent or lost over time. Furthermore, a replacement brings the case back into use. Moreover, spares let staff swap lids while others are being cleaned.
Where it is used
Sterile services, clinics and labs use these cases. Additionally, they hold small instruments, syringes and dressings. Many sites standardise on one case size.
Fit check
Place the lid on the case and press lightly. Besides, it should sit flat with no rocking. If it rocks, the case rim may need checking.
Storing case lid options
- For 135 x 40 mm round cases
- For 200 x 100 x 400 mm cases
- With knob or without knob
Cleaning lids
Wash the lid with the case after use. Dry both before stacking. Then store lids flat so they keep their shape.
Why we check your lid
You get three years against manufacturing defects with each lid at no added cost. Our Atlanta team checks this lid one at a time before sealing the box. The common questions page covers typical order queries. Related instruments live in the general instrument list. Steel in surgical instruments has a dedicated standard, which is ASTM F899. Think about adding the container cases.
For clinical professionals. Refunds appear on our returns policy. The sterilization page describes image variation along with the alloy’s nickel.
