Instrument Box (l x b x h)
The steel instrument box stores and protects instruments between uses. It also goes through the steriliser with its contents.
Fourteen sizes
Sizes run from 150 x 65 x 25 mm to 500 x 200 x 75 mm. Moreover, small boxes suit a few fine tools. Meanwhile, the largest holds a full set.
Box or lid
Each size comes as the box only, a lid with a knob, or a lid without a knob. The knob helps with gloved hands. In contrast, the flat lid stacks better.
Why a steel instrument box
Steel resists heat, chemicals and knocks. It keeps tips from bending in storage. As a result, instruments last longer.
Where it is used
Theatres, sterile services and clinics use these boxes. Dental practices and labs keep them too. Besides, many sites match box sizes to their common sets.
Choosing a size
Lay the set out first and measure it. Allow a little room so tips do not touch the walls. Then choose the nearest size.

Box care
Wash the box and lid after each cycle. Dry thoroughly. Then stack boxes with lids off so they air dry.
