Description
Endo Dissectors Zygomatic Arch
The zygomatic arch dissector frees tissue over the cheekbone during endoscopic midface work. Its 5 mm tip keeps contact with the arch.
Built for the arch
The tip is narrow so it slips along the bone. Also, the shaft angle clears the temporal region. As a result, the surgeon reaches the arch from a temple port.
Handles for the zygomatic arch dissector
You may choose an ergonomic handle or a standard one. The working end is the same on both. Thus the decision rests on hand comfort.
When surgeons use it
It supports midface and lateral brow lifts. Teams also use it during orbital rim release. Most keep it beside a temporal dissector.
Staying on bone over the cheek
Keep the tip pressed lightly to the arch throughout. That way the dissection stays beneath the soft tissue and nerve branches. Then sweep from back to front in short arcs, checking the view after each pass.
