Description
Container For Cotton Wool (Ø x h)
The cotton wool container keeps cotton clean and ready at the bedside or in theatre. A knob lid lifts off easily with one hand.
Ten sizes
Sizes run from 80 x 60 mm to 250 x 250 mm. Besides, each pair of numbers gives the width across, followed by how tall it stands. Small pots suit a dressing trolley, while the big drums hold bulk stock.
Container or pellet lid
Each size comes as a full container with knob lid. Alternatively, buy the pellet lid without a knob as a spare. Also, that keeps the set complete if a lid goes missing.
Why a steel cotton wool container
Steel resists cleaners and autoclave heat. Moreover, it keeps contents covered and dry. Moreover, it lasts for years.
Where it is used
Wards, clinics and theatres all use them. Dental surgeries also keep small ones for pellets. In addition, many trolleys carry two sizes.
Hygiene
Use clean forceps to take cotton out. Keep the lid closed between uses. Then refill and sterilise on a regular schedule.
